NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

THE PUBLIC SHOULD TAKE NOTICE the Hertford County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, OCTOBER 5, 2020 at 9:15 A.M. in the MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM – JUDICIAL CENTER LOCATED AT 119  JUSTICE DRIVE, WINTON, N.C. for the purpose of hearing and considering public comments on a request by Jan DeBoer to rezone two properties from Residential Agricultural (RA-30) to Riverside Residential and Camping (RR&C). Properties identified in Hertford County Land Records as PIN# 6973-17-7096 (4.83 acres) owned by Jan Nygaard and PIN # 6973-26-1960 (9.16 acres) owned by Cypress Cove Retreat, LLC. The properties are located at and adjacent to 825 Swains Mill Road, Harrellsville, NC. These properties are identified as Lot A and Lot B on plat recorded in PC2 page 15B and are located on the east side of SR 1441 approximately 1.70 miles north of its’ intersection with Cullen Rd. (SR 1439) and bounded on the east by the Chowan River.

Interested citizens will be heard on this issue. Following the Public Hearing, the Hertford County Board of Commissioners may adopt, revise, or reject the requested rezoning.
