Program Integrity

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires that each county maintain a Program Integrity Unit which monitors the benefits and services of citizens who apply for Food and Nutrition Services, Work First, Medicaid, Child Services and other programs. The responsibility of this program is to investigate all referrals and ensure customers are receiving the correct amount of benefits and services.
