The mission of the Hertford County Facilities Department is to maintain county buildings and equipment whereby enabling our County agencies to better serve our citizens and provide them with an improved quality of life. Hertford County Facilities with the granted permission and support of the Hertford County Commissioners, will provide the citizens and taxpayers with the best possible service for their investment and tax dollar.

About Hertford County Facilities

Hertford County Facilities maintains 19 governmental office buildings.  This includes building maintenance, housekeeping and grounds keeping functions.  These tasks are performed with a team consisting of 10 full-time employees and 10 part-time employees.
