Do you have a notary public in your office? No.
How do I find out if a lien is on my property? Only when you use your property to borrow money will you find a deed of trust in this office.
Can I get a map for my property? Only if it has been surveyed and recorded.
Can I request copies of documents by fax or on-line? There is a fee for all copies and they must be paid before receiving the copies. We do not accept credit cards.
VITAL RECORDS (Birth, Deaths and Marriages)
We must have the original signature on file. There is a fee and we do not accept credit cards.
Can I request my certificate by fax or on-line?
If I was born in another county or state can I get my certificate from your office? No.
Do you accept credit cards? No.
Can anybody look up my information (birth, death and marriage)? Yes. Most of the records in this office are open to the public.
Can I view birth, death and marriage certificates on line? No.
Do I need a blood test? No.
What do I need to do to get a license to be married? The couple should be in the office by 4:30PM, Monday – Friday. Bring a valid driver’s license/State ID, social security card and birth certificate (under 20). Proof of how previous married ended if less than 6 months. After obtaining the license, you must marry within sixty (60) days. You will need $60 in cash, check or money order.
