HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

Michael Scott Lassiter and his father James Beale were the victims of a deadly home invasion on September 1, 2016 in the Woodridge Mobile Home Park area. The Hertford County Sheriff’s Office along with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations have been working diligently to solve this crime. With the help of the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and the Governor’s Office, a reward of up to $10,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murders of Michael Lassiter and James Beale.
