Hertford County Solid Waste Property Maintenance Contract 

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting that must be attended in order to bid on this project. If you are late, you will not be able to sign in and bid on this project. Pre-Bid meeting date is March 1, 2024, 10:00a.m. at the Public Works building at 307 W Tryon St Winton NC 27986. All bids are to be received and turned in by March 8, 2024, by 10:00 a.m. This contract begins July 1, 2024.

The properties are to be maintained between the dates of July 1 to October 31, 2024, and March 1 to June 30, 2025. This is a one-year contract with the option for Hertford County Rural Water to extend this contract (2) additional years but is subject to review each contract year. If the work being done is found unsatisfactory, at any point during the contract period, Hertford County Rural Water can discontinue the use of the contractor and void contract.
