Hertford County Public Buildings is a department that maintains 18 governmental office buildings.  This includes building maintenance, housekeeping and grounds keeping functions.  These tasks are performed with a limited staff consisting of 8 full-time employees and one part time employee.

Hertford County Public Buildings is a maintenance department striving to maintain county buildings and equipment whereby enabling our county agencies to better serve our citizens and provide them with an improved quality of life.

Hertford County Public Buildings with the granted permission and support of the Hertford County Commissioners, will provide the citizens and taxpayers with the best possible service for their investment and tax dollar.
