VACANCY

 

Hertford County is seeking to fill the following position(s) within governmental operations:

 

Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate – Under general supervision responsible for responding to emergency/non-emergency medical calls, assessing patients, providing life support treatment for persons (if required), extricating trapped victims from wreckage, stabilizing and treating injuries, transporting the sick and elderly to and from medical facilities/residences, preparing patient reports, and insurance carrier reports.

 

Must have high school diploma or GED, possess a valid NC Driver’s License, and must be credentialed by NC Medical Board as an Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate and be able to advance in the certification level. 

 

Starting Salary:  $29,314
