Hertford County is seeking to fill the following position within governmental operations:

 

Water Maintenance Worker – Under supervision, performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of components of the County’s rural water system.  Minimum Training and Experience:  Graduation from high school and experience with water distribution systems and mechanical work or an equivalent combination of experience and training.  Special Requirements:  Possession of a valid NC Driver’s License, and Water Operator’s Class C and Distribution Class B. License(s) within the first two years of employment.

 

Starting Salary:  $20,833
