Hertford County is seeking to fill the following position within its governmental operations:

 

Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker – Under regular supervision, performs responsible semiskilled and unskilled work in a variety of building maintenance/upkeep duties; landscaping, and/or grounds maintenance work.  Limited supervision may be exercised over assigned personnel.  Minimum Training and Experience:  Graduation from high school and a minimum of one (1) year experience in maintenance and upkeep of building(s)/grounds.  Electrical repair experience a plus.  Special Requirements:  Possession of a valid NC Driver’s License.  Starting Salary:  $18,346.
